NOTE: Submission of an application and dues does NOT automatically qualify you for membership in Solano VIPs. You will be notified by our Membership Director after your application has been reviewed.

$60 per year; they are prorated but not refundable. Dues are to be paid annually, payable upon the member's yearly anniversary.

Each member is encouraged to bring business cards with extra cards to be filed by category in the business-card file box.

Repetition of information provides each member the opportunity to practice promoting his/her business in a clear, concise, and effective manner. Hearing this information from each member on a weekly basis creates familiarity and clarity for the purpose of referring members. Keep the information simple: Name, Business, Service and Type & Source of referral that would work best for your business.

20-minute presentation
This is your time to shine! Members are encourage to schedule presentations quarterly and attempt to rotate in a new member as quickly as the schedule will permit. This is your opportunity to acquaint the membership with what you do! If you're comfortable, share some of your personal background and training. Bring materials to demonstrate-handouts are wonderful tools. Allow time for questions. Remember, above all, have fun!
referrals
New members are invited to visit other members individually to get better acquainted and to begin to use other member services as much as possible. As occasions arise to refer fellow members, please call them directly to let them know you have referred a client and give them the referral name and number and a bit of information about the service they will require. Make a note of the referral for the next meeting so that you can follow-up and see how things went. Also, make a note of referrals given to you so that you can express thanks to referring member during the meeting. It is understood that it is not always possible to refer a member. Participating in the meeting. Staying mindful of the fellow member's services and practicing thoughtfulness will provide benefit and increased business to everyone. |
